  April 15, 2009 - Super, classic Rioja. Wood is there, with a hint of new world fruit, but, all in all, this is a classic bottle and well in the zone.

  March 15, 2008 - Picked this up in Puerto Rico for around $20. It was outstanding, I was worried about the storage of the wine, but the fruit flavors were still strong and complemented our paella dinner excellently!

  February 2, 2008 - This has really come in to its own and is mature and ripe right now. Considerably better than 18 months ago when last tasted. (Several bottles then, several bottles now.) Tasting of plums with hints of vanilla and leather. Medium bodied with a velvety mouth-feel. Medium to long finish.

  October 31, 2006 - This a traditional style Rioja with vanillin flavors from American oak and the combination of black and red berries. It's pleasant and with medium length aftertaste. It appears to be at its peak at the moment. Drink now-2008.
