March 21, 2024 - Très pinot, fresh red fruit, a hint of vanilla in the aftertaste, nice bitters, but overall lean and missing some complexity. Will time help this wine?

May 18, 2023 - Opened too soon, in error - too young, yet. Typical young PN colour. Not much nose at first. The palate showed plenty of savoury character with some red fruit but, tbh, it was too reminiscent of a meat gravy. Probably my fault for jumping the gun.
I tried another glass next day. There was some juicy fruit but the leathery, mouth-drying tannins overwhelmed it at this stage. I did not find this a pleasant glass. Very disappointing indeed.
I will keep the other bottles for a year or two, at least (with fingers crossed).
