April 1, 2023 - Masterclass with Melanie Tarlant, vertical tasting of all currently released La Vigne d’Antan vintages. Wine #1/5. Made from ungrafted Chardonnay vines, planted in 1962. Disgorged in January 2023. Pale golden colour. Aromas are bursting with freshness with notes of honey, apple, smoky notes, pineapple, quince. Palate of zero dosage is zesty and fresh, still pretty wild astringent and spicy mousse, autolytic hints along citrusy lemon peel and pomelo flavours, vibrant acidity.
