November 26, 2021 - Last of 3. Same as previous notes. This is still going strong.

January 10, 2021 - This is a beautiful wine. Full, deep, with concentrated blue and red fruits. Has some tannic grip on the finish. This should hold for years. This seems much younger than the 2008 Charles Noellat Beaune 1er Les Epenotes we had last night.

November 1, 2020 - Lovely Beaune. In its drinking window. Concentrated red and blue fruits.

January 16, 2011 - Wow, what a delicious wine. One of those bottles that makes me stop and ponder. Beautiful mix of red and blue fruit, nice spice, mineral underinning and a freshly tannic palate, along with some leather. This wine has years ahead of it but makes it so compelling right now, despite the structure, is the way the fruit expresses itself. Just a great wine to drink, should be one helluva wine in 3-5 years. Thank you Francine, the best wine of the year so far.
