July 19, 2018 - My last bottle of this, and much the best. In perfect condition, a lovely edge of Vosne spice, warm summer flowers and harmony. Completely integrated and balanced. Just 12.5% abv. The previous bottle disappointed, but this is the one to stay in the memory!

January 17, 2017 - I had high hopes for this, but this bottle did not perform very well. Deep colour, some good perfume initially, but quite dull and vaguely cheesy in the mouth, and overall not exciting. It was better in 2014, maybe it is now over the hill, or maybe just a dull bottle.

October 24, 2014 - This is still in very good shape. Sweet, fruity, balanced, more-ish -- everything a generic bourgogne should be from a goodish year.

June 3, 2011 - Very decent bourgogne drinking very well now. Really attractive perfumed nose and palate, what a pleasure in a standard generic. Fruit and acidity well balanced. Quite a cut above what the professional reviewers forecast, and lasting much better than they predicted. No hurry with this one. If keeping part of an opened bottle overnight, better with food the next day.

February 16, 2007 - What I expected...a very good red burg with enough spice to pair well with my wife's chili. Nothing extraordinary here but well worth the money.
