February 7, 2018 - Weinerlei Priorat Degu (Atelier Ubezio - Le beizli): Nose has dark fruit on the fore, supported by very round oak and Christmas spices. On the palate presents itself very balanced, not too over-extracted although full bodied. Long and complex finish. Good stuff.
My no. 5 of the night, overall 6th.

March 19, 2016 - Very special wine! (Marlene)

December 25, 2015 - Dark rubin, relatively weak nose with hardly any flavours - some dark berries; on palate very well structured - fine balance of wood/tannins/ alcohol/fruit, long finish. Overall however disappointed in view of very positive ratings by community: in spite of having decanted the wine for three hours, still too aggressive and a touch of petroleum; tried remainder of bottle again next day, slightly more mellow, but still underwhelming.

March 10, 2015 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. The body is medium/full. The wine has polished texture with wet tobacco leaf on the pallet. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

The wine aged really well. I've been sitting on it for about three years and it tastes like it's hitting it's peak just about now.
