  October 14, 2023 - 100% Chenin Blanc. Straw coloured with a slight bronze tint. The palate offers citrus, green apple, and pear, with some stone fruit flavours. Fresh and crisp with good, persistent acidity.
  Dry - none of the ‘sweetness’ that I find in many popular CBs from S. Africa.
  2-3 Hours later, it seemed ‘fatter’ and drier with flavours of green honeydew melon. Much less attractive - I have reduced my rating. 88-

  August 12, 2023 - Medium orange color. So bright and interesting on the nose with this lemon zinger tea, honeysuckle, mint and celery seed over orange peel, with notes of almond skin and corn husk – really cool. Bracing but balanced with a pleasantly waxy texture and crisp acidity, and juicy, tangy flavors of nectarine, orange peel, preserved lemon. There’s this cool mix of chalky, salty tones with floral, almond skin, and honey accents. Super fun but a lot going on as well. A great intro orange wine, as it’s not too crazy, and everything balances out nicely. Viognier and Chenin Blanc.
