April 18, 2024 - This is a bright & refreshing white, which reminds me of a hard cider. It has some sweet pear & apple undertones, but not the syrupy sweetness I had expected of a riesling. It has a lighter composition & is not deeply complex with the appearance of a light straw color. But it went perfectly with my pork meatloaf tonight.

I’d imagine this would be a great wine to enjoy over the summer. Cheers!

March 11, 2024 - Chateau Ste. Michelle's Riesling always has dependable lively acidity, and the 2023 vintage is no different. Peeled apples and ripening pears on the nose. Added stone fruit on the palate with a zinging lemon-lime zest finish with stony mineral undertones.

    Simple, great exotic food wine.

February 4, 2024 - Another day with our favorite cousin -- another bottle of her favorite wine -- same Tasting Note:
PnP, chilled. Initially, the medium bodied palate presented a touch of frizzante, along with flavors of peach, lime, and some orange. All in an off-dry wine. There is sufficient acidity to balance, and only a very slight bitterness (orange pith) on the finish. Should hold.

January 28, 2024 - Feel like this used to be a solid value, but no longer, it seems. Muted, sweet cider-like green apple and green grape nose. Maybe a little peach on the palate but the residual sugar is doing all the work. Feels a little hot and out of balance, even at 12%. Light bodied, no finish beyond sugar. Not good.
