May 8, 2023 - Opaque in color, the wine pops from the glass with black fruits, cloves, cinnamon, blackberries, blueberries, purple flowers, almonds, and smoke. The wine coats, bathes, and covers your palate with seemingly endless layers of opulent, black fruits. The cashmere tannins create the impression of velvet as the wine lingers for 60 seconds or more with its waves of black, blue. and red fruits, dark cocoa, licorice, and Asian spice. There is a seamlessness to the finish, as well as lift, and purity. This is a very hedonistic, yet elegant wine. 2022 clearly competes with the best of vintages of Cos ever produced. The wine was made from blending 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 1% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. 14.04% ABV, 3.79 pH. The yields were 33 hectoliters per hectare. The harvest took place September 7 to September 23. The Grand Vin was produced from 66% of the harvest. The wine is going to approachable early in its life, yet it has the ability to age for decades. Drink from 2028-2060. 98-100 Pts.

May 1, 2023 - 99 vvPunkte / (61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot 1% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot).

April 27, 2023 - En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Six (Bordeaux): Savoury, very slightly sour smelling blackcurrant, sweet spice, a slight savoury and meaty underpin and, with time, a slightly stewed fruit note. Hard and chewy tannins immediately assault the palate, savoury, slightly sour and oddly dilute black fruits underpin this but the tannins are very much in charge. The acidity levels do not match the fruit sourness. not for me.
