May 8, 2023 - Roses, violets, black currants, all spice, currants, and black cherries crowd into the perfume. On the palate, the medium-bodied wine is silky, sensuous, polished, and refined. The fruits are ripe, vibrant, sweet, and fresh. The red pit fruit finish, with its cocoa accent, and refined character is all about its purity and textural profile. The wine is a blend of 51% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 6% Petit Verdot. 14.2% ABV, 3.73 pH. Drink from 2025-2042. 93-95 Pts.

Ausgezeichnet, elegant! April 24, 2023 - Rich, corpulent, generous, syrupy.

    Lot of extraction. Baking spices.

Almost new-wordly. A lot of flavor and roundness.
You can really feel the heat of the vintage in this wine.

The result is very well balanced nonetheless.

April 24, 2023 - En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Three (Bordeaux): Plum, sweet spice, a little liquorice, blackcurrant, very slight violet. Juicy, fleshy, initial fruit sweetness then quite right with liquorice, plums, tight tannic grip is slightly woody though persistent, drying…the fruit carries helped by a little alcohol prickle. S'okay
