May 8, 2023 - Licorice, violets, black plums, incense, black raspberries, smoke, and leafy herbs open the nose. On the palate, the wine is creamy, fresh, rich, and loaded with black fruits, crushed stone, and spice. The oak is already close to fully integrated. The wine blends 80% Merlot, with 20% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2026-2045. 93-95 Pts.

May 1, 2023 - 94 vvPunkte / (80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 14.5% Alkohol) Sehr expressive Nase nach Veilchen, würzige Noten, dunkle Beeren, Rauch. Im Auftakt weich, fast harmlmos, packt dann zu, die Frucht ist knackig, die Tannine sehr hochwertig, wie ein Seidentuch hüllen sie sich um die Frucht und tragen den Wein in einen langen Abgang. Herrlich, knackig, mineralisch im Finish. Sehr gut gelungen und mit grossen Reserven. 2030-2060 (Verkostet "En Primeur" im April 2023 auf Château Canon la Gaffelière) #primeurs22 www.vvWine.ch
