April 3, 2024 - Third wine at De Toren. Made up of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Malbec, 14% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot.
Deep ruby red with purplish hues. Black currants on the nose with cherries, baking spices and a hint of cedar. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) with a medium plus to full body. Well rounded on the palate with black currants, leather and a hint of blueberries in the long finish. Drink till 2040.1 person found this helpful Comment -

January 3, 2024 - Consumed at the winery near Stellenbosch. Decanted from Magnum. This is delicious juice!
Dark, dark purple color; wonderful nose of black fruit.
Layered black and red fruit, with delicious savory notes of leather and cedar pencil in a very bordeaux-style wine. It’s delicious. I’ll buy more when I get home..1 person found this helpful Comment
