Community Tasting Notes 10

May 18, 2023 - This is somewhat surprisingly not past its drinking window. Lots of rich black fruits on palate. The nose is a bit earthy. Unfortunately, this bottle is slightly corked so a musty bitter note mars the mid palate and finish. Still, not too bad with with a hearty chicken soup tonight. Would love to see what a good bottle of this would be like.

August 3, 2020 - Still 90. First sip mouthfilling. Nice black fruit, black- and blueberry. Good balance, no decay. Soft with some length. A complete wine, no signs of fatigue and enough substance. Heijda

February 25, 2014 - All about rich upfront chocolately black fruit with a very nice classic pomerol texture. It's not especially complex and it's a bit short in the second act on the midpalate, but the fruit on the attack sure is nice. Good QPR.

August 22, 2013 - 1983 Cabernet Retrospective, Part 2 (Tasted Blind) (Tom's house in Palo Alto, California): Light red. Generous nose (B++/A-). Very tasty palate (B++/A-).
    My #2, Group's #2 (63 pts). Tasted blind.
