March 10, 2012 - Solid showing, full bodied. Some interesting hints. Nothing special though.

November 11, 2011 - Excellent!!! Popped and poured. I haven't had a bottle of this wine in two years. It has really come a long way. It has a bunch of smoke on the nose. It also has some of that dust that you typically get in a Rutherford cab. Soft wine in the mouth. Plenty of acid to hold up for a while. Not hugely complex but just a fabulous wine for $11.99. I'm not used to aging cheap wine but this worked. Bravo Columbia Crest!

May 26, 2011 - Dark fruit, graphite and a hint of perfume on the nose. On the palate, sweet berry fruit with a great mouthfeel, well rounded and balanced. Finish is long but a bit on the simple side - overall a great value wine and would buy again based on the sheer delicious factor.

April 7, 2011 - Very solid bottle of WA state value cab. I wish I had the patience to cellar more "cheap" wine. This has turned into an amazingly complex and silky smooth bottle of wine...for a $12 bottle. Absolutely no harsh edges. It is drinking well right now.
