November 2, 2018 - When opened there was beautiful dark purple color but a tartness and absence of fruit which was concerning because I have five more bottles. By the time dinner was served it was fabulous - great fruit, finish and mouthfeel. This is a wonderful 23 year old wine showing no signs of giving out. Bravo. Open your bottles an hour early.
