March 13, 2021 - Explosive smell, blackberry, plum, peony, leather. Tar and chocolate in the mouth, wood and cream. Substantial tannin but fine and silky rather than grainy. High alcohol, hot. High acid. Just a massive wine. Long fruit finish. Splendid. But one glass is enough.

August 31, 2019 - Rich smell, blackberry, blackcurrant, ripe cherry. Leather, chocolate, dried fruit. Really splendid smell. Full bodied and rich. Warm alcohol, still quite tannic but fresh. Overall excellent, not too young but will last a few years yet.
