April 14, 2024 - Shared this with my wine group at an Indian restaurant. Very different from what I was expecting from a Beaujolais. It was bigger, fuller bodied with a longer finish. Still it was very fruit forward. Those in my group that liked it, loved it, but some didn't care for it.

July 6, 2023 - I brought this to a NYC Italian restaurant that serves good pasta dishes and very good artisanal pizza. Our group loved this Beaujolais, finding it much fuller bodied (although still on the medium-light side) than we expected. The lighting in the restaurant made the color look a little darker than it actually was. Fruity and it went down easily and it paired well with the pasta dishes. It may have been a little overwhelmed by the spicy sausage on my pizza.
