July 13, 2023 - I like Passetoutgrains a lot; but rarely see it where I live (Southern California). Found this on a list at a business dinner in Tucson and had to try it. I'm glad it did.

Fresh green herbs, wet leaves, ripe cherries, ripe raspberries, ripe red plums, pomegranate seeds, cloves, black pepper and lemon juice on the nose. Palate loses the lemon peel and adds hint of barnyard/live animal; but not in an umpleasant way. Intensity of both flavors and aromas is medium. Good long finish, especially for Passetoutgrains.

Medium - body with medium + acid and medium powdery tannins. Takes a chill well. Light and juicy; but a bit more complex than other wines fitting that description. Good pairing with roast pork loin.
