February 11, 2010 - Very interesting wine. Medium red/purple color, pronounced legs and normal viscosity. Intriguing sweet nose of clove, nutmeg and a hint of licorice and a eucalyptus-style Zin. Complex.Rich berry flavors with a full-bodied mouth feel, hard tannins, refreshing acidity and an lingering, bitter, alcohol finish. Flamboyant (not refined) loud, full of personality. I like the wine. And Sunce's tasting room in the RRV is a fun place to visit. KEY: much better after two days open in the bottle. Needs plenty of air.

August 4, 2008 - Sweet and pepper combined for an interesting combo. Per Brian could be very good with chocolate.
