December 30, 2016 - This one has simply gone...the cork was so dry it broke when I opened the bottle.
Spit the taster back into the glass...sorry to say

April 3, 2012 - Pulled from the cellar and let the bottle settle at room temperature during the afternoon. Popped and poured into a large glass and let breath for half hour. Cherry and plumb on the nose with a whiff of saddle leather and earth. Deep red fruit colour with a slight browning around the rim. Tasted rustic with lots of cherry and a hint of spice, well balanced with decent finish and fine tannin. Placed last half of bottle through a funnel and strainer, showing no sediment. Over all not a bad bottle from a good vintage.

March 2, 2012 - Garnet with med-lite viscosity in the glass. Earth, plum, must, cassis and mushroom on the nose. Med-lite body with thin dark fruit, earth, cherry and tobacco on the palate. Disjointed with stem-filled, grippy tannin and bitter on back. Medium finish. On closeout at Grocery Outlet.
