Community Tasting Notes 3

September 30, 2014 - The wine is clear and bright with a medium lemon colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and fully developed, showing medium intensity notes of butter, anise, yellow apple, cinnamon and walnuts. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium(-) acidity. It has a medium(+) warm alcohol and a medium(+) body. It has medium(+) intensity flavours of yellow apple, cinnamon, walnuts, anise and yellow apple. The finish is medium.

It is a very good quality wine. It has a nice fruit concentration, a decent complexity provided by bottle ageing and it shows the typicity of a Rhone white. However it could be longer. Can drink now, but it has enough fruit concentration to be kept for 1-2 years more, albeit it is unlikely to develop more complexity.

June 10, 2012 - Bright pale yellow colour with green tints. Aromas of peaches and fresh flowers. On the palate, I detected a rich texture with hints of white peaches, pineapple and tropical fruits. Very Good

January 20, 2008 - This new No Spit acquisition had pear liqueur and minerals on the nose with a lush palate of white fruit, some soapy lanolin impressions, more wonderful minerality and what seemed to be almost bitter floral flavors . The finish featured smooth stony minerals and some slight honey aspects. Very young and sick from shipping but with excellent potential.
