March 26, 1990 - With Michael Lehmann at Square One dinner/wine tasting. Light gold. Great complex nose. Apples, oaky, buttery. Best Pouilly Fuisse nose I've ever smelled. It's excellent. In the mouth, it's so, so complex. Good fruit, steely, with a finish that has to be experienced. Wow! Tremendous surprise. Best Pouilly Fuisse I've ever had. Perfect, riveting body and balance. 5-12-17-8: 92/100.
