June 14, 2017 - from private cellar, perfectly stored, on the nose fresh lime juice/pulp,toasted almond, salty, baked bread, a lees note coconut, an energetic limestone cut holding this together, tired but the green fruit is quite buoyant

October 5, 2014 - deeper yellow, buttery aged Chardonnay on nose, palate also buttery, with some depth, no longer fresh, considerable depth of flavour and some complexity on palate, just a bit flabby, hint of mineral hardness at finish holds it together, quite good but probably this bottle a few years past its peak. OK still with dinner

October 9, 2010 - Disappointing -- rather flabby and diffuse, lacking acidity; a mineral edge at the end saves this. At first thought this was oxidized but don't think it was now. Drink up.

July 24, 2009 - this wine has consistently improved over time. a complex delivery of pears, spices and St Aubin minerals yields a wonderful drink now that can improve for years. 92 pts The wine maker.... Pierre Yves Colin has done it again...no surprise!!!

May 16, 2009 - This wine is in fine shape! It does indeed smell of pears with cloves and a bit of vanilla. P. Yves did a good job with the winemaking. Its lovely...not a blockbuster but built for at least 3-4 more years or perhaps more. It has the structure to age.....90 pts
