Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Tenuta Stefan Likes this wine: 91 points

April 13, 2013 - Bottle in perfect shape.
    Nice yellow colour- golden, straw.
On the nose it shows a mature wine that offers hay, nuts, citrus (orange peel), lanolin and wet wool in the background. A slightly oxidiced note.
Surprisingly fresh on the palate. Citrus, almonds, wax (bee), slightly spicy. Nice backbone, good weight and length.

If you like mature white Bordeaux for a good price, this is a perfect wine to look for. Not the best vintage, but still, you can get a nice surprise in your glass.
