September 3, 2008 - Even just a little time has done good things for this wine. We were surprised by how much we liked it this time - fruity, well rounded, nice finish... nothing offensive at all. Now I'm wishing I would have bought more.

May 28, 2008 - Decanted some, this was OK. I agree that it's one-dimensional and rather unexciting, but I had it with a shredded chicken burrito and it worked out fine. There was something very signature "this is blending merlot" about it. Probably could've been a component of a wine that retailed for 3x as much if it brought that and only that to a table already set by some Central Coast Cab Franc or something.

April 21, 2008 - This added nothing to a good steak meal April 2008 rated 71. Updated entry and drank another bottle-August 2008. It is drinking better now and OK as more of an everyday-drinker table wine. Now scoring 78.
