Community Tasting Notes 2

March 28, 2009 - I believe that this was the cuvee tasted. Medium color. Lots of lavender and herb on the nose. A burst of very jammy black cherry fruit is followed by a lot of acidity and frankly, not much else. Prickly feel suggests some VA. Very hollow mid-palate and thin finish. Curious wine with both ripe and green components but very little integration of the two.

January 28, 2008 - Tasted on opening, slightly sharp. Decanted, airated and left for an hour - much better, smoother. Aromas developed well. Probably still a bit young.
