Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Fat cat Does not like this wine: 80 points

February 28, 2015 - Clean pale gold colour. The nose is of furniture cleaner or similar chemical smell. Quite oily in the mouth with some acidity, the fruit and floral flavours have faded and their are some quite pronounced bitter almond favours. Overall I feel that this wine peaked some time ago and I have to say that White CdP is not my favourite style of wine in any case.

August 9, 2010 - Oily honeycomb, old flowers, hint of banana, petrol after first opening which faded with time.
