July 1, 2023 - Medium ruby colour. Jammy, sweet and spicy nose has components of cherry jam, stewed strawberry and clove. Taste is less sweet as the acidity balances, while replicating the components of the nose. Medium-full body, high acid, medium-high tannins rounder by age. Medium high alcohol, 3g residual sugar. Very good, although the jammy style is not my favorite. Chilling to 16 celsius elevated the acidity and brought balance to the wine. Still 1-2 years life left, will not develop more.
