February 20, 2024 - A fresh pinot driven nose. Bright, clean, and chalky, with white flowers and subtle autolytic notes. More about soil and chalk than fruit or toast. Chiseled, yet light on its feet, this is compact and focused, but with a lot of depth coupled with a sense of lightness. This dances lightly with much impact. Finely detail bright and electric on the palate. Many might call this austere, but for me this really kills it. Light focused precise wine. Low dosage with a gentle hand. Muscadet with bubbles. I'd love some fat sweet Gulf oysters with this.

January 26, 2024 - A decent product, but slightly overpriced for what it delivers.

Blanc de noir classified extra-brut but bringing zero dosage notes.

The color is relatively light considering 100% pinot noir, straw with golden hint. Beautifully luminous but without great intensity.

In the nose, winemaking notes are predominant: puff pastry, bread, and buttery notes, with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. On the fruity side, there is a net lack of any kind of red fruit, while citrus fruit (lemon zest and yellow grapefruit) are providing fresh notes. It must be noted the intensity in the nose is medium, and the wine takes a while to open up.

In the mouth, the wine opens up with a lovely acidity (high), supported by a medium body and medium alcol. Particularly noteworthy is the perlage, fine veil of bubbles covering the palate. The aftertaste is unfortunately spiking in acidity, with more citrus fruit.

Everything considered, this is a lovely product that drinks well. However, price point and the lack of refinement in the aftertaste are bringing the vote down. A pity, considering this product has the potential to comfortably seat at 93-94 range in better years.

December 28, 2023 - A lot of vanilla and toast in the beginning, in addition to citrus aromas. After several hours in the glass the vanilla and toast aromas were almost gone, and replaced by delicious citrus and mineral aromas. Good concentration.
