October 22, 2023 - Pop and pour. Medium body. Still quite youthful from a fruit perspective, but tannins are fully integrated. Lush fruit with nice acidity and structure. Beautiful finish. Somehow a much improved profiled vs. a bottle I opened several months ago.

January 8, 2023 - Light body and a bit thin. The fruit has subsided quite a bit and there some excess acidity. Two hour decant helped balance this out.

September 5, 2021 - Excellent. Just what I expect from top pomerol at the peak.

November 12, 2019 - Bottle, fill and cork all excellent. Dense, decanted for 2 hours and not giving much. This lacked the Right Bank charm. It is competent and not flawed, but not inspiring. Perhaps it needs more time. This wine reminded me of so many 1980s California cabernets that were heavily oaked and now seem to be in suspended states. One wonders if something more will come.

July 15, 2019 - Lots of mature character: truffle, charred oak, brulé plum, bricking etc. However very mellow and I think precariously perched on the edge of its plateau.
Still excellent but fading fast and well off the 93pts of my '15 note - drink up. My last.
