February 25, 2017 - A little tired. Quality fruit and high alcohol held this together. Smoke and menthol and spice on the nose. SPice, spice and more spice on the nose, especially mid palate. Still good with food. Most zins with this age would have just disintegrated into a disaster.

October 28, 2016 - Meant to consume at a party, but tasty a bit funky upon opening. Corked it and consumed it the next day, when it was good but not up to usual Turley standards.

October 29, 2015 - This remains a big wine, likely will last some years longer. Smoke, sweet fruit, and alcohol are on the nose. Sweet plum with some bramble in the mouth; add a touch of white pepper and tannins to the fairly long finish.
