October 31, 2023 - Stunning wine. Absolutely no rough edges hard to imagine this wine will get any better. Some balsamic, earthy notes and light strawberries.

October 26, 2023 - WCC West Coast Pinot Noir (Fort Orange Club, Albany, NY): Brought as a bonus by a member of the group. Big, spicy nose. Big and tannic in the mouth. This could have used more air. 92-??

July 17, 2023 - Luis goes to Kenwood (The Kenwood): I know Bouchard takes forever and Corton does too, so I was hoping the age on this bottle had calmed it down. Not really. There's plenty there to love now, burly woodsy cedar, balsamic, but its rather big and more years will likely improve it.

July 16, 2023 - No decant, just 90 minutes or so open in bottle with the first ounce or so poured off. Similar notes to my last bottle. This showed undergrowth, dry leaves and red cherry, with notes of aged soy sauce and balsamic on the finish. Still quite tannic, but with food that didn't bother me; others at the table found the tannins to be more of an issue. Good wine, but as others notes, probably needs more time.

October 20, 2022 - Drinking really well. Decanted for 2 hours but nose was expressive from the get go. Only improved in the glass with cherry and strawberry fruit and a fairly long finish. If anything, still youthful but no harm in drinking now.

(Bouchard Père et Fils Le Corton) Medium, medium-plus colour. A deep core of fruit with layers becoming ever darker at the edges. The silkiest mouth-feel of any of these wines and undisguised power at it’s core. Undemonstrative yet impressive.
