December 10, 2023 - I really like this wine. It has a "stand out" varietal character. As opposed to a Chinon, it's screaming off flowers, Coonawarra eucalyptus, clove, bran, and fresh blooming flowers.
Color. Dark red, translucent at the edge
Nose. Coonawarra eucalyptus, bran, fresh lilies and other flowers, currants, blueberries, a little carmenere funk too.
Palate. Smooth blueberry compote. Very low tannins. Yummy.
