June 1, 2016 - I got this for $12 from Benchmark Wine's bottle shop which I think it a fantastic value and has aged quite well. Rummy nose with dense ripe dark fruits and (my favorite) beach boardwalk taffy shop scents. In the mouth the aged fruits really comes through with mostly super ripe plums and burnt toast. Finishes velvety smooth.

Yep $12 was asuper bargain for this wine.

September 25, 2012 - Decanted 2 hours. The color is still deep and brilliant with a thin clear rim. Smoky plum, baking spices and red berry aromas lead to light-to-medium weight flavors of cooked plum with notes of sweet spice and savory herbs. Certainly in need of drinking but not at all dried out, this reminds me of a nice, mature Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux. This has been in my cellar since release. Well done, Chuck!

February 27, 2010 - Popped my last bottle. I have seen this mature over this years and it is a nice bottle of wine. Classic cab profile. On the late maturity side--wish I had more.

February 20, 2010 - very nice cab, although well past its "drink by" date. Robust and rich, with a nice last on the palate.

May 31, 2009 - Drank over a period of two days....First day, decanted and drank first half over 2 hour period. Hard to say how good it was since it was served with some very spicy chili, avocado, sour cream and tortilla chips which totally overpowered it. Vacu-vined and refrigerated. The following day...very nice. Medium-heavy bodied. Lots of plum, some currant and smoke. Very smooth, still fresh. 20 second finish.
