March 20, 2024 - Red with flashes of pink and orange. Elegant, really gorgeous fruit aromas. Slightly jammy flavour. Cherry, strawberry and spice. Mellow tannin. Delicious.

November 27, 2023 - Piemonte: Truffles instead of Turkey; 11/23/2023-12/2/2023 (Barolo, Barbaresco, Alto Piemonte and of course Alba): Again a more intense style of wine - there are very dry tannins and a bit more just body and heft to it in general. 20 days of fermentation and then then wood and steel for the longer aging. A wine that is meant to be drunk young but I do wonder if maybe a few more years might soften it a bit.
