October 2, 2011 - A lot of plum on the nose

February 3, 2009 - Popped and poured. The nose was almost port-like--lots of raisin and molasses. On the palate, this wine was over the top. Way too much alcohol, imo. I am a huge fan of Mitch Cosentino, and had high hopes for this one, but the wine was way out of balance and told me that Mitch should probably stay away from pinot.

August 7, 2008 - Very unusual pinot, nicely matured and integrated, almost raisony in flavor with some chewiness normally associated with mature cab or shiraz. Medium tannins and aftertaste all integrated together. Pleasure to drink

Lots of Cherry and black currant both in the nose and on the palate.
    Quite hot.

March 18, 2005 - Very dark ruby red color.
Nose - cherry, mineral and herbal notes with touch of meat and toasted oak.
Lots of oak, cherries, and black currants on palate.
Balanced cherry and spicy finish. Quite appealing , but way too powerful (14.9% alcohol)
and straightforward - certainly not magical or mind-blowing as Burgundies can be.
