Community Tasting Notes 5

March 8, 2024 - From 75cl screwcap at La Grande Orange Pasadena. Subdued but lifted scent with redcurrant in there; slender entry - attenuated bright red fruit, clean simple entry-level fun; mid-palate is grippy/vegetal, root vegetables rather than tannic; short finish. 87P

November 9, 2023 - November 9, 2023 - Very nice Pinot! Very light bodied and translucent in the glass. Lots of sour cherry and earthy notes on the nose with an interesting hint of barnyard in there too?
More of the same on the palate, very dry and tart with some nice acidity. Great qpr, new world flavors with old world mouth feel

November 9, 2023 - Vibrantly fresh and fruity. Tight, and a bit restrictive.

August 31, 2023 - Seemed to satisfy the brief - very Burgundian with cherries and a lot of earth. Medium length finish. Could maybe do with a little more complexity but no complaints at $20
