April 11, 2011 - Very pretty, medium bodied but with a hint of chocolate and other deep savory flavors lying just beneath the surface. Held up well to food and made for a thoughtful dinner.

September 28, 2006 - ordered at restaurant.- decanted and drank. very good. nice nose of cherry, vanilla, raspberry. very good feel in the mouth. dark cherry, spice. medium body but without the high toned acids which I find disturbing in some younger amarones. this is a deeper fuller style, my first from this house. If the oak intergrates this could be special. I really like it and will look for more.
