September 2, 2019 - Lesser 1er Cru from good producers (Imperial Treasure Fine Teochew Cuisne @ Tanjong Pagar Center): Pretty nose, a little cherry cola, iron, reductive. Sweet and minerally, later on showing some white flower note too. A pretty wine at first but also a little dirty (wet soil) at the back. Good acidity entry, elegant for a Gevrey, nice freshness here, it has the Gevrey firmness but not the power. Long and juicy.

August 22, 2019 - Lifted red And dark purple cherry, raspberry plus a lot of sweet earth. Full of fruit on a light frame with elegant tannin and that backbone of earth. Much lighter and lifted, yet more layered than the 2016 gevrey. Off memory I prefer the darker and more brooding 2016 LSJ. Would like to try the 2015 and 2016 side by side in five years.
