  Agree with Frankenberry. This comes from a block across from To Kalon in Oakville. I had not had any previous experience with Frias before, and came away impressed by their wines. This was $135/bottle and I may be emailing Fern to pick up a 3 pack. Definitely still young.

  September 12, 2023 - An Evening in Philly with Vangone and Frias: This was the lead off of the Trio of '21 Frias cabs tasted a week ahead of their release. According to Fernie, this is 100% cabernet from Oakville, matured in half new french oak barrels for a year and a half. This was given 3-4 hours of slow ox by fellow CTer IAMANDYC
  This has a nose of ripe black cherries and cassis, with hints of chocolate and anise. Medium in body, silky in mouthfeel, it shows terrific balance and a sense of elegance and weightlessness. It is also a relative bargain compared with the other wines tasted. This is drinking well now, and RP has suggested a 10 year drinking window.
  
  All of the offerings from Frias were impressive. To the best of my knowledge, this is a small production wine available only from the winery.
