February 1, 2008 - Culinary Team Canada Dinner (Ray's House): I really enjoyed this wine. I thought it had real syrah charateristics of meat and game. Not like todays fruit forward syrahs. Although I enjoy both styles.

May 2, 1989 - With MPL, BLR and Diane at MacArthur Park. Gorgeous color. Dark ruby. Very shy nose, but lots of bright, deep, peppery fruit lurks underneath. Very rich, full. Very good, true varietal flavor. Surprisingly, not real tannic. 5-11-16-7: 89/100.
