February 16, 2024 - Just a little over a month later and after a 2 to 3 hour decant opened up really nicely. Oak, cassis, and blackberry on the nose. Black cherry, strawberry, and vanilla on the palate. Long leathery finish. Glad I have four more bottles that should get better over the next year or two.

January 5, 2024 - Deep ruby color with slow legs. Still a bit green on the nose so going to hold on rating for another year. Promising notes of oak, cassis and blackberry with lots of plum on the palate. I think these flavors will all integrate well over the next year.
