Community Tasting Notes 2

February 22, 2022 - Double-decanted 1 hour before dinner. Beautiful nose that unfurled over 3 hours. Violets, white pepper, game and granitic spice. Poised and satin on the palate (but by no means formless) with a fine-grained tannins and a beautiful mullberry ripeness that kept gaining with time in the glass. Excellent now but potentially even better with another few years in the cellar. Lovely.

December 7, 2013 - Wonderful balanced middleweight Hermitage, beginning to come out of its youth. First bottle two years ago was way too young but this showed much better. Try to hide away the last from myself at least three years :-)
