Community Tasting Notes 1

  • LindsayM Likes this wine: 93 points

October 9, 2023 - this bottle has been opened for a few days (5-7) and was about to return and thought ill try it again
Colour dense blood red black/ purple hues crimson to clear on the rim 15/15
Nose med intensity fragrant black fruits blackcurrant blackberries black olive , violet florals cedar oak spices vanilla good purity of aromas 28/30
Palate med+ bodied flavours from the nose evenly spread across the palate excellent balance long finish , fairly primary at this stage as expected 41/44
Overall I had written this wine off during its first 3 days and hard not got around draining the rest of the bottle , what a amazing transformation , obviously this needs a good decant for drinking , potentially could go higher than 93pts with bottle age 9/11
