August 2, 2014 - Lovely bottle. Nose: orange confit, cinnamon, Cloves and a bit of rhubarb. Palate: leather, graphite, and spices.

August 26, 2012 - Very smooth wine. Not much scent, but very smooth. Aged well. Drank with a meal of Tri-tip, potatoes and grilled veggies. Meat was in a red wine sauce reduced to a thick syrup. This wine was clean and crisp. Buy this again

November 9, 2011 - Muted fruit and a severely high tannic factor. Like sucking a seed on the finish. Better on day two and the acidity reacts well with food. Not an overly inspired Gigondas.

August 21, 2010 - Big nose of dark fruits, licorice and a bit of leather. Nice mouthfeel with puckering tannins and licorice finish. Not bad but not crazy about it.
