March 9, 2024 - This was a surprising, cheap wine sourced from Fresh Market, around $7 on sale. The nose was lovely with mature red fruit notes and some earthiness. The palate was a little flat, didn't follow the nose but not bad. A tad thin with a short-medium finish. I'm leaving a tasting note because overall this was a very good for the money and would hold it's own nicely against much higher dollar wines.

January 15, 2024 - Nose: fruity, jammy, red berries with light alcoholic notes. Palate is jammy, slightly overpowering though not to the point of being acrid. Simple but fairly pleasant notes of red berries. Finish is short, a bit synthetic, with an aftertaste like red licorice candy. It is just okay, a common, drinkable Pinot Noir that'll do just fine for a casual meal.
