November 12, 2009 - I was starting to think this bottling was starting to go downhill based on my last bottle which was flat and slightly astringent, but this bottle was clean and very vibrant. Bright fresh tropical fruits, a beautiful nose and palate, clean and simple. Possibly some bottle variation going on here, this made great breakfast wine.

N: Peaches pears and vanilla
T: Pineapple, pear, tomatillo spice, buttery
F: Clean, cleansing. Short but w/ astringentness.
Overall: Good. Works super well with toasted marshmallows, almost creepy. Would make a good seafood wine.

March 6, 2009 - blind tasted clear, lemon, nose: med +, daisy, floral, a garden with grass and earth palate: dry, acid med+ tannin perhaps from skin, body med alc est 13.5 and 13.5, length med + and finish grapefruit, spicy bouquet, orange blossoms pair with: scallops, oysters ... a good luncheon salad wine for ladies who lunch. guesses: SB but not from france or NZ, from CA cuz they make some funky wines there -- I should have thought Torrontes ... i need to compare this to like-wines

January 10, 2009 - I'm surprised we haven't switched vintages yet. The nose is still gorgeous, with a sweet tropical and floral nose. But the palate is a huge letdown. There's a bitter component on the finish that I can't get past. My score is this high only because of that nose. 82-84
