May 17, 2010 - Very brooding and aromatic nose on this right after opening. The palate isn't very concentrated as the aromatics would suggest, but very light and expressive. Good mid-palate and tasty herbal finish. Wonderful wine!

I like it, and the price is right, but I have a suspicion that this might be a touch "Parkerized" to appeal to modern (American) palates; it doesn't taste like a typical Bourgueil to me.

October 10, 2009 - Very interesting wine - lavender and green pepper on the nose. Green pepper and raspberry on the palate. Light with balanced tannins, nice finish. A bit too vegetal for my taste though - I would prefer more fruit to come through.
