October 15, 2023 - Wow what a wine. Got this bottle DP for not much money. Perfectly mature. Quite full bodied, but tannins have all resolved. Can imagine this would have been an absolute tannic monster 15 years ago - time has served it well. Lots of red and dark fruit still. Some garrigue but not overpowering. Only wish is I’d had it with some food.

December 10, 2022 - From our cellar. Purchased on release. Cork and fill were perfect. Stunning immediately after decanting and for next couple hours. A 100% Grenache loaded with beautiful black and red berries and fruit. Elegant and smooth. Additional layers of dried spices, meat juices, mineral and flowers. Super long finish. We loved it. At peak - can't imagine this gets any better.

May 2, 2021 - This really deserved more of our attention than to be bottle #6 in a lengthy session, but it did leave an impression and was my WOTD. Silky-textured, balanced and full of delicious gamey flavour. Sad this was my only mature St Cosme, glad I've been buying more recent vintages...

April 5, 2020 - Fantastic! Had last night night without decanting. Beautiful, mature color, nose of leather, herbs, dark fruits. Tannins were fully integrated. At its peak, I think, and will begin to fade but, wow, what a great wine for the price.
