October 5, 2023 - Visits in the Wachau and Kamptal; 10/4/2023-10/5/2023 (In and around the Wachau and Kamptal, Lower Austria): This is a nose that really makes you take notice as it is deep and highly aromatic with flowing tones of white peaches, green apples, lemon peels, crushed rocks, saline, white fruits, mineral notes, and all sorts of white and spring floral tones. The Medium bodied feel is deft and silky with razor sharp, high acidity. The acidity has a good bit of sting right now and the finish is lengthy. This is something beautiful right now and there is plenty of room for further development. This is a real treat and well worth seeking out.
